Payware Mobile

PAYware offers premium quality security for processing credit card on the iPhone 4. PAYware Mobile is PA-DSS 1.2 validated by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. To achieve this level of security on the iPhone 4, a required adapter plate is used to allow the phone to slide into its card encryption sleeve and click into place. (Be sure that you are purchasing the encryption sleeve that is compatible with iPhone 4. It is not backward-compatible with older iPhone models.)

Activate the Payware Mobile app and encryption sleeve with a PaymentMax merchant account number to:
• Accept all major credit cards for processing.
• Search with the transaction search feature.
• Generate daily summary reports
• Access the transaction log.
• Pre-authorize card sales and complete them when the item ships.
• Refund or void sales.
• Send email receipts.
• Find transaction locations with the map button.
• Update firmware at the touch of a button.

Authorized users can be added or deleted directly from the iPhone 4. (Multi-tiered roles must be created by accessing your Merchant Portal from a PC-based Internet connection.) PAYware Mobile has a Test Drive Mode can be used to train employees on how to process credit card sales. It also has easy-access help files built into the app.

PAYware allows credit sales to be made from nearly any location around the clock. Even at times when there are connectivity issues, voice authorization may still be possible to complete the sale.

PAYware is recommended for mom-and-pop catering services, street-corner or festival vendors, door-to-door sales, home repair services, and other small businesses that want to increase sales by accepting credit cards without having to commit to long-term contracts or invest in dedicated POS terminals.
